Little Schoolhouse Goes Boho

Here are a few pieces from my new collection of
buckets for this Fall.  I approached these designs
and color palette from a "Little House on the Prairie"
goes "Boho" direction.
Funky. Prairie. Schoolhouse.
The patterns will be available in your choice of
several color options.  You'll be able
to mix and match here in my shop.

On another little note, I've been doing a
bit of redecorating around here.
I have a new blog header.
And updated logos.

I hope you can stop by here tomorrow,
when I'll be sharing a look into
my collage process.

Friday Photo-Op: A Message in Pinks and Greens

I happen to love the above photo I took while on vacation
a few (looong) weeks ago in Vermont.
It just brings me back to the perfect Summer spot.

It's time now to soak-up the last few bits of Summertime.
Enjoy your weekend.

Friday Photo-Op: A Quilted Summer

I feel as though I've been wrapped-up in Summer
happenings.  Each day I wake-up and think I
have all the lazy time in the world to
drink up the warm weather and before
I know it, the day's gone.
***********
The above "quilt" is something I put together
to show you just a few of the new
designs I've been creating that
will be featured on my fall line of
I can't wait to show you the finished
products--lotsa lace, beautiful damasks,
cool back to school prints, and
some prairie florals.
Coming very soon--almost like the end
of Summer.

Hangin' in Hollywood

(c)BLOSSOM'S AT SUNSET by Beth Nadler

Just wanted to share with you guys the fact
that my print above had a starring role in
last night's episode of THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING.
Yup, that's right. "Blossoms" hangs just to the right
of Chloe's damask fabric-covered headboard in her
stereotypically teenage-decorated bedroom
and the camera zoomed in on this little
guy above!  FUN!

Vacations Make Me Happy

I have to just say how nice it is to escape the "real" world
and go live in a postcard for several days.
This little cabin above is a converted one-room schoolhouse
that my husband, Doug and I rented last week for our
Vermont getaway.

The views from our little resort set atop a mountain
were breathtaking.  This was the first time in many
y e a r s that we've gone away just the two of us.
Our son, Jake's now sixteen and having a blast studying
in D.C. this Summer--so we took advantage
of our time together.

Doug and I had lots of fun doing basically nothing together.

Well, maybe not "nothing"...
We looked at cows.

Sat on benches.

Pet the goats.

Ate delicious food in cute, little restaurants.

Took many walks.

And stopped to smell the flowers.
